Coming Shortly, CCTV parking ticket for an offence duration 3.3 seconds
YES 3.3 SECONDS on an empty bus lane., I have the pictures.
I must have caused enormous congestion and brought London to a halt.
The PCN was issued for a contravention that cannot be anything to do with congestion,... Categorically!
There is NO mercy, no mitigation, no sanity and no rationale in such enforcement except for the purpose of revenue collection, in others words ruthless plunder at the closest boundary to criminal conduct. The offence of parking for more than 1 second has become one of the new TEN commandments,
THOU SHALT NOT STOP replaces THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.
Local councils, have been renamed local authorities, a term unmerited, and its gone to their heads. Didn’t we elect them to serve? Or did I misunderstand when they were selling us a distant idea, Europe, it was a diversion from the daily harassment for hard working people. We must go to the altar daily and sacrifice our £50 hard earned money from work, for 1 few seconds of sloth, followed up my specious arguments that we are better off now it is decriminalised, not mentioning it’s dehumanised. When did a policemen EVER give you Ticket for a few seconds, without first asking to you move off? Take me back to the decent humanitarian days of crimilised parking please. The tail now wags the dog. The Mantra is: LAW & THOU SHALT NOT STOP for more than 1 second.
Period of grace? Forget it! A leaked letter from the former Transport Minister to other ministers where he apparently mentioned the public complaints MAY HAVE MERIT, while wardens now need police protection ad stab proof vests, just about tells you what laughter it is behind the walls in those corridors of power, where noting that is sattewd IS, everything now only appears or seems to be. Thus , it appears this house is standing, and it appears to me that the public complaints may have merit actually no longer corresponds with reality anymore.
This is intended to be part of the preamble and open letter to the Transport Minister and PM.
